Rabban Dawood Matti was consecrated as the Archbishop of Mosul & Environs

 

Rabban Dawood Matti was consecrated with the name Mor Nicodemos on November 27, 2011 by our Holy Father Moran Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas as the Archbishop of Mosul and Environs at the St. Peter & St Paul’s Cathedral in the Patriarchal Monastery, Damascus, Syria. Mor Philoxinus Mattias Nayis (Patriarchal Assistant, Director of St. Aphrem Theological Seminary, Ma’arat Saidnaya, Damascus), Mor Gregorios Yohanna Ibrahim (Archbishop of Aleppo & Environs in Syria), Mor Severios Malke Mourad (Patriarchal Vicar of Jerusalem & Jordan), Mor Athanasius Aphrem Barsaum (Metropolitan of Beirut-Lebanon), Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh (Archbishop of Beirut & Benevolent institutions in Lebanon), Mor Osthatheos Matta Rohum (Metropolitan of Jazirah & Euphrates), Mor Selwanos Petros Al-Nemeh (Metropolitan of Homs & Hama), Mor Gregorios Saliba Shamoun (Metropolitan of Mosul), Mor Severius Ishak Zaka (Metropolitan of St. Aphrem Seminary, Mosul), Mor Irenius Paulose (Metropolitan of Kozhikode Diocese), Mor Chrisostomos Markose (Metropolitan of the Evangelical Association of the East ) assisted His Holiness on Consecration ceremony. Many were in attendance from all parts of the world including Rabbans, Priests, Sisters and faithful of the Syriac Orthodox Church.
