On April 24, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended a recital entitled “Fast, Prayer and Repentance: We are the Children of the Resurrection” at St. Georges Patriarchal Cathedral in Bab Touma – Damascus.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Yacoub Babawi, Patriarchal Vicar for Monks Affairs and the Administration of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary in Maarat Saydnaya, Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, Mor Andrawos Bahhi, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education, and Mor Augeen Al Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, attended the recital as well their Excellencies Greek Orthodox Patriarchal Assistant Bishop Moussa Al-Khoury, Syriac Catholic Archbishop of Damascus Mor Youhanna Jehad Battah and Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Syria Archbishop Hanna Jallouf.
His Holiness blessed the members of the choir who performed Syriac and Arabic hymns. He
A special prayer was offered for the two abducted Archbishops.
