On April 25, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received the Head of the Evangelical Church of Syria, Rev. Boutros Zaour, at the Patriarchate in Damascus.
The meeting was attended by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant and Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary.
During the meeting, His Holiness discussed with Rev. Zaour the current situation of the churches in Syria and the region.
