On October 7, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II presided over the evening prayer at St. Mary Church in Worcester – Massachussetts.
His Holiness was received by his Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak, Patriarchal Vicar for the Archdiocese of Eastern USA, and the clergy of the Archdiocese.
He was accompanied by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Polycarpus Augeen Aydin, Patriarchal Vicar for the Netherlands, and Mor Augeen Al Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary.
His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak welcomed his Holiness and the accompanying delegation and thanked him for his visit on the occasion of the centennial celebration of the construction of the church.
In turn, His Holiness expressed his joy to be with the faithful members of St. Mary Church during this jubilee.
