On August 10, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended a recital, on the occasion of the feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The recital was first performed by St. Mary the Lady of the Girdle (Zunoro) Choir, at the Lady of the Girdle (Zunoro) Cathedral in Homs.
Their Eminences: Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, and His Excellency Youhanna Abdo Arbash, Greek Catholic Melkite Archbishop of Homs, attended the recital.
