Visit of His Beatitude Greek Catholic Patriarch Joseph Absi

On April 28, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Beatitude Joseph Absi, Greek-Melkite Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Alexandria, and Jerusalem, at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma – Damascus.

His Beatitude was accompanied by His Excellency Mgr. Nicolas Antipas, General Patriarchal Vicar of Damascus, and Rev. Fr. Nader Haddad, Secretary of His Beatitude. His Beatitude and the accompanying delegation offered greetings on the occasion of the Feast of the Resurrection.

Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Cyril Babi, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, and Very Rev. Raban Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, were also present.
