On September 13, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Mr. Tristan Azbej, Hungarian State Secretary for the Aid of the Persecuted Christians, at the Patriarchal Center in Budapest.
His Eminence Archbishop Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, was also present.
During the meeting, His Holiness discussed with His Excellency the different projects that are executed through the support of Hungary Helps. His Excellency also spoke about the cooperation with the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate.
