On March 24, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited Mor Mikhael Church in the region of San Antonio in the province of Goias.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Titus Boulos Touza, Apostolic Delegate for the Syriac Missions in Brazil, Mor Severius Malke Mourad, Patriarchal Vicar in Brazil, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, accompanied His Holiness during this visit.
His Eminence Archbishop Mor Titus Boulos Touza welcomed His Holiness and the accompanying delegation, and spoke about the history of this parish and the faith of its members. The parish priest Fr. Miguel also thanked his Holiness for his visit which is a great support to the congregation.
His Holiness expressed his joy to be among the small flock who is loved by the Lord for their faith and humility. He encouraged them to remain faithful to the church and asked the Lord to bless them all and give them good health and peace always.
