On April 1st, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo, at at St. Severius Church in the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh – Lebanon.
His Holiness was assisted by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Chrysostomos Mikhael Shemoun, Patriarchal Vicar and Director of the Patriarchal Benevolent Institutions in Atchaneh.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Theophilus Georges Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Justinos Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar in Zahleh and Beqaa, Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Archbishop of Beirut, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, Mor Severus Roger Akhrass, Patriarchal Vicar for Syriac Studies, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, attended the Holy Qurobo.
During the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness prayed the special service of the 40 day memorial for the late Khuroyo Edward Hanna.
