SUSPENSION OF FR. JOY PAULOSE KALAPURAYIL ( Fr. Joy Kalapurayil )
This notice serves to inform the public that, by means of Kalpana No. 88/23 dated October 6, 2023, Archbishop Mor Titus Yeldho has suspended Fr. Joy Paulose Kalapurayil due to his actions against the Holy Church and his disobedience to the directions of the hierarchy concerning St. Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church in Washington, DC.
Fr. Joy is hereby prohibited from celebrating Holy Qurbono, performing any sacraments or priestly services, and from initiating any congregation or parish in the USA and Canada.
Additionally, Fr. Joy is not authorized to represent the Syriac Orthodox Church or the Malankara Jacobite Syrian Church anywhere in any capacity.
