Inauguration part of the new building of the Holy Cross Monastery in Saydnaya

On April 9, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II inaugurated part of the new building of the Holy Cross Monastery in Saydnaya. The inaugurated part includes a church dedicated to Mor Ignatius, and a residence for the monks. When fully completed, the monastery will include guest rooms and facilities to host spiritual retreats and other activities.
