Occasion of the 15th centennial jubilee of Mor Philoxenus of Mabough

On October 21, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II inaugurated the Symposium held on the occasion of the 15th centennial jubilee of Mor Philoxenus of Mabough. Under the auspices of the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate, the Symposium is organized by Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary and the Department of Syriac Studies and hosted at Mor Aphrem Monastery in Maarat Saydnaya.

Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Yacoub Babawi, Patriarchal Vicar for the Affairs of Monks and the Administration of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, Mor George Kourieh, Patriarchal Vicar in Belgium, France and Luxemburg, Mor Severius Roger Akhrass, Patriarchal Vicar for the Syriac Studies, Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, and Mor Andrawos Bahhi, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education, also attended the symposium.
