On April 10, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Mr. Ayman Raad, Assistant of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma – Damascus.
The meeting was attended by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Jazerah and Euphrares, Mor George Kourieh, Patriarchal Vicar of Belgium, France and Luxembourg, Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, and Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary.
During the meeting, His Holiness spoke with His Excellency about the current situation in Syria on the local and international levels.
