From June 25 to June 27, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Eminence Mor Gregorius Joseph, Metropolitan Trustee of our Church in India and Metropolitan of Cochin Diocese, at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh – Lebanon.
Very Rev. Fr. Markose Abraham, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs, also attended the meeting.
During the visit, His Eminence reported to His Holiness on the current situation of our church in India and the meetings of the Regional Holy Synod. His Holiness asked His Eminence to convey his blessings to the brothers Metropolitans and gave his instructions to the cooperation between the bishops and all the clergy and faithful for the benefit of our church in India.
