On October 23, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Dr. Tameem Malko, Charge d’Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Sweden, at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma – Damascus.
The meeting was attended by his Eminence Archbishop Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
During the meeting, His Holiness spoke with His Excellency about the situation of the Syrians in Sweden and the diaspora.
