On January 23, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh, Lebanon, a delegation from Hezbollah Party.
The delegation was led by Sayyed Ibrahim Amin al-Sayed, Chairman of Hezbollah’s Political Council, and included: His Excellency MP Amin Sherri, Mr. Mohammad Al-Khansa and Mr. Mohammad Saleh.
The meeting was attended by their Eminences: Mor Theophilus George Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Archbishop of Beirut, Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media office Director, and Very Rev. Father Augeen Al-Khouri Neemat.
The delegation offered His Holiness and the Syriac Church their greetings on the occasion of Christmas and New Year.
