On September 7, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited the site of Mor Antonios Monastery in Sadad.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, Mor Nicolaos Matta Abdelahad, Patriarchal Vicar in Spain, Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Jazeera and Euphrates, and Mor Augeen Al Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, accompanied His Holiness.
During the visit, His Holiness inspected the premises which are being prepared for the inauguration of the monastery.
