On October 8, 2023, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at St. Mary Church in Worcester – Massachussetts.
His Holiness was assisted by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Dionysius John Kawak, Patriarchal Vicar for the Archdiocese of Eastern USA, Mor Polycarpus Augeen Aydin, Patriarchal Vicar for the Netherlands, and Mor Augeen Al Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary.
His Eminence Mor Dionysius John Kawak thanked his Holiness for his blessing on the occasion of the centennial celebration of the construction of St. Mary Church in Worcester.
In his sermon, His Holiness congratulated the faithful members of St. Mary Church for the centenial jubilee of its construction. He spoke about the challenges faced by the founders of this parish and how their unity and solidarity enabled them to achieve growth and development while preserving their traditions and the teachings of their church.
