On June 19, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma, His Excellency Mr. Fabio Vaz Pitaluga, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Syrian Arab Republic, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission in Syria.
His Excellency thanked His Holiness for his warm welcome and remembered the various occasions in which he participated at the Patriarchate.
In turn, His Holiness thanked him for his role during his term in Syria and wished him a successful diplomatic mission in his next appointment.
The meeting was also attended by His Eminence Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
